摘要: This case emphasizes that radiographic changes, although not diagnostic, can be characteristic and highly suggestive of a disease process especially benign or malignant tumor. Radiographic changes suggested the possibility in this included ill-defined margins lesion; bone production within lesion, interdentally at alveolar crest; widening periodontal ligament space around tooth roots lesions; perpendicular bony striae extending outward from surface (sun-ray effect). THese are specific for process: however, when coupled with clinical history, probability malignancy is high. Failure recognition considered greatest problem oral cavity. Clinicians should consider every abnormal condition as suspicious unless there valid reasons ruling out cancer.
