摘要: Vitamin E and vitamin C are involved in the defense of body against free radical reactive oxygen molecule induced damage. The best characterized biological damage caused by radicals is known as lipid peroxidation. Free formation to play a major role development cancer. In this study, we measured plasma levels thiobarbituric acid substances (TBARS) marker peroxidation, cholesterol, vitamins antioxidants male patients with colorectal tumors (n = 20, 54.5 ± 8.3 years). had significantly higher TBARS than age-matched healthy subjects (p < 0.001). Plasma were lower compared On other hand, similar those subjects. cholesterol also found be elevated Our results suggest that there an imbalance between oxidant antioxidant status tumor genesis.
