摘要: Nicotinic and muscarinic receptor subtypes of the cholinergic system each have a long history study. However, investigation has mainly concentrated on their separate actions. Their potential interactions received very little attention, despite fact that they both are stimulated by same endogenous ligand. There variety mechanisms which these two types receptors might act in concert with regard to normal function, disease processes, effects drugs toxicants. In this chapter we review neurochemical, anatomical, behavioral for interaction nicotinic what consequences may cognitive function. This oldest best established case single transmitter provides good example how study function such structures can easily get tracked into separately, ignoring critical interact.
