摘要: Directional climate change (global warming) is causing rapid alterations in animals' environments. Because the nervous system at forefront of interactions with environment, neurobiological implications are central to understanding how individuals, and ultimately populations, will respond global warming. Evidence accumulating for individual level, mechanistic effects on development performance. Climate can also alter sensory stimuli, changing effectiveness cognitive systems achieving biological fitness. At population natural selection forces stemming from directional may drive evolutionary structure function.
