摘要: Electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetic resonance imaging are two popular methodologies for brain research. While EEG has a high temporal resolution, yet low spatial MRI the complete opposite, resolution. Obviously therefore, researchers have been searching ways combining methodologies, more than decades. However, there many issues that to be solved before can successfully and, importantly reliably, combined. Here, we give an overview of these issues, present strategies used over past decades overcome them. We start with general description (f)MRI methodology, then difficulties involved in both lastly discuss most solve problems. conclude spite combined successfully, provided correct procedures followed.
