摘要: Abstract Infections with gill parasites (monogeneans, digenean metacercariae, myxosporeans, ciliates) in carp fry (Cyprinus carpio) were followed for 7 weeks after hatching a freshwater earth pond natural spawning. The was situated Sukabumi (Indonesia) tropical climate and the water temperature varied between 24.5 27.6°C. Dactylogyrus minutus most prominent during period of investigation but also D. extensus, Gyrodactylus sp. diporpa larvae occurred. Echinostomid metacercariae showed steady increase occurrence, whereas abundance trichodinids notably, significant peak 14 days hatching. Cysts myxosporeans Myxobolus toyamai Thelohanellus callisporis detected from day 23 posthatching. Examination one spawner indicated that these fishes are part infection source extensus. Waterbath treatment mebendazole (1 mg/l) 24 h resulted reduction number on fry. Prophylactic treatments fumagillin (0.1% feed) posthatching inhibited development myxosporean cysts.
