Generally, prevalences higher during rainy season April October when compared dry season. rates densities lower fishes FHHS than FHS. Fish at an age 61 90 days post-hatch showed highest parasite loads reflecting presence a continuous risk ponds following stocking. parasites found body musculature, head, fins especially base fins. importance farming increasing both local international markets practices farms industrial processing may reduce levels thereby improve food hygienic standard products.
