摘要: A seasonal investigation on the occurrence of fishborne zoonotic trematodes (FZT) in economically important mono-cultured hybrid catfish and giant gouramy was conducted Mekong Delta Vietnam. Fish from carp poly-culture intensive small-scale integrated vegetable–aquaculture–animal husbandry farming (VAC) systems were also examined. No FZT metacercariae found any catfish. common, however, fish other three systems: All belonged to Heterophyidae family trematodes, Haplorchis pumilio, H. taichui, Centrocestus formosanus Stellantchasmus falcatus. The prevalence 1.7% gouramy, 6.6% 3.0% raised VAC system. pumilio most common species constituting more than 58.0% all recovered. infection significantly higher flooding season compared non-flooding for both reared intensity greatest poly-culture, particularly season. results indicate that certain production are at risk FZT, control approaches will benefit understanding these factors.
