摘要: Drosophila species are extensively used in biological research; yet, important phylogenetic relationships within the genus and with related genera remain unresolved. The combined data for three genes (Adh, Sod, Gpdh) statistically resolves outstanding issues. We define inclusively so as to include Scaptomyza Zaprionus (considered distinct taxonomy of Wheeler, 1981) but excluding Scaptodrosophila. defined is monophyletic. subgenus Sophophora (including melanogaster, obscura, willistoni groups) monophyletic sister clade all other subgenera. Hawaiian Scaptomyza) a group, not monophyletic, because immigrans group more closely Hirtodrosophila than Drosophila, such virilis repleta groups.
