摘要: Exendin (9-39) amide (Ex [9-39]) was recently proposed for use in the treatment of alimentary or reactive hypoglycaemia. It indeed found to antagonise insulinotropic action GLP-1 rats infused with dimethyl ester succinic acid (SAD). We have now investigated whether, under comparable experimental conditions, Ex also opposes insulin-releasing SAD itself. Since this not case, could be safely used abolish incretin effect without interfering control insulin secretion by circulating nutrients.
