摘要: • Hyperinsulinism in forms satisfying rigid diagnostic criteria was found 91 cases. The attacks must be associated with exercise or fasting, the blood sugar level during an attack less than 50 mg. per 100 cc., and relieved by administration of sugar. Electroencephalograms do not help differential diagnosis. Fasting up to 72 hours is a valuable test has replaced glucose tolerance test. Although hyperinsulinism rare, it all age groups from 9 years. A study family histories indicated positive relation diabetes. treatment laparotomy pancreatic exploration. In 76 cases actual tumor islet cells pancreas found.
