摘要: To assess the utility of a dose-titration scheme for determining maintenance theophylline requirements, dose requirements and stability serum concentrations were examined using 3537 determinations from 1073 patients with chronic asthma during 5-year period. When dosing was followed, 78% initial within target range 10 to 20 μg/ml; mean number measurements attain this 1.3. Among 404 these prospectively questioned, adverse effects not present in all 41 whose concentration μg/ml. After final adjustment, among those who attained μg/ml averaged 22 mg/kg/day 1- 9-year-old children, 9- 12-year-old 18 12- 16 year-old 13 94 older than years age. Repeat after 3 months 2 showed 66% remaining another 15% between 7.5 9% >20 μg/ml, none >30 Thus produces usual therapeutic minimum samples few side effects; most maintained acceptably stable blood levels.
