摘要: Abstract The identity, proved by Satchler, between a folded quadrupole moment and the underlying nuclear has been exploited in order to survey deformed optical model folding calculations. We find reasonable agreement for light nuclei e.m. deformations, heavy following alternative holds: either nucleons breaks down manner not understood, or, have much greater deformations of proton component than neutron hexadecapole degree freedom. In addition we show that α-particle models appear break completely heavier nuclei.
