摘要: This thesis explores the origin and cultural development of Thule Eskimo Tradition in Northern Labrador, based on an analysis archaeological material excavated during summer 1970 Saglek Bay. The occupation this region extends time approximately from mid-fifteenth century to present. Specifically objectives were: establish presence prior Euro-American contact; investigate affinity direction which their ancestors migrated east coast Labrador; view relation climatic changes as well acculturative influences; changing settlement patterns relate these similar events other areas arctic. span Bay has been analysed with reference three phases.
