摘要: Advancement towards improved configuration of pilot point into a model in parameterisation step groundwater modeling is required to accurately obtain satisfactory performance. Nevertheless, the recommendations provided by majority current studies on this geostatistical technique are considered too empirical than practical be applied real catchment conditions. In study for first time approach using geometric features and area proposed efficiently configure distribution calibration model. Three user-friendly ratios, i.e. distance-area (d/A), distance-x grid length (d/Xgrid), distance-y (d/Ygrid) introduced Grid-based (GB) technique. Eight models eight different distances (250 m, 500 750 1000 1250 1500 1750 m 2000 m) were developed GB constructed an eogenic karst Rote Island, Indonesia their performances evaluated. Modelers can use three ratios when calibrating given same sub-surface characteristics. This also provides some insights trade-off between maximising restricting number points offers relative basis selecting properties method development physically-based
