摘要: An in vitro co-culture system composed of bone marrow-derived mononuclear phagocytes (obtained from endotoxin-responsive mice) and 45Ca-labeled calvaria endotoxin-hyporesponsive was established order to examine the direct effect bacterial endotoxin on resorption mediated by phagocytes. Co-cultures treated with exhibited a significant increase assessed terms %45Ca released. This observed absence contact between phagocyte population bone, indicating that enhanced occurred as function soluble factors secreted response endotoxin. which contained devitalized 45Ca-calvaria failed exhibit an released following treatment. Consequently, endotoxin-stimulated appeared modulate activity endogenous bone-resorbing cells. Two were distinguished upon subsequent analysis. These results suggest interaction plaque-associated may have important consequences relevant alveolar characteristic chronic periodontal disease.
