摘要: Background The main cause of azathioprine (AZA)/6-mercaptopurine (6MP)-induced adverse reactions is a reduction in the activities metabolizing enzymes thiopurine S-methyltransferase (TPMT) and inosine triphosphate pyrophosphohydrolase (ITPA). Adverse develop at high frequency Japanese patients half dose required for European American patients; however, association with TPMT ITPA gene polymorphisms has not been fully investigated.
