摘要: 1. The age changes in carcass composition of female kids killed at birth, 9, 16, 25 and 30 lb. are described.2. organs tissues the were weighed both wet oven-dried, allowing dry-matter percentages different stages growth to be calculated. total percentage for day-old averaged 26·5%, rising a maximum 40·5% stage. greatest increase was between birth 9 stage, which reached approximately 1 month. This dry matter is chiefly due steady rise content muscular skeletal tissues; from 20·2 25·4%, 34·3 59·6%, respectively, maturity.3. various joints kid recorded separately, proportions illustrated centripetal growth. At present following proportions: thorax 30%; legs 40%; head 20%; pelvis 10%. As developed, there marked proportion pelvis, accompanied by corresponding decrease foreleg.
