摘要: Abstract Ninety adult, castrated cashmere goats, typical of animals kept for commercial production in southern Australia, were slaughtered at a abattoir and carcasses boned out boning works. Liveweights ranged from 27.5 to 79.0 kg hot carcass weight 12.1 32.6 kg. Hot increased 427 g every 1 increase liveweight. GR tissue depth 3.4 11.0 mm (mean 6.4 mm). Goats weighing > 44 liveweight with body condition scores 2 produced more than 20 had boneless meat yields 64.2 ± 0.1% SE) 66.8 0.2% cold weight. Boneless yield declined 61.1% 13.8 goat 307 670 respectively. As increased, meat: bone ratios 1.98 2.39 fat trim 2.2% 6.6%. accounted 95.8% the total wholesale value fillet 172 g) an additional 2.9%. Regression equations indicated excellent predictors (r ≥ 0.99) yields. The accuracy use length, score precision prediction are discussed.
