摘要: A theory of an unsteady incompressible inviscid flow past accelerated lamina, moving across the fluid, is extended to address a bent (rather than flat) lamina and finite size point) vortices in its wake. It shown that when velocity varies with time t as tm, distance from their cores grow, initially, t(2m+2)/3 t(2m+2)/3exp(-Ct-(8m+2)/3), respectively, where C strictly positive constant. The growth rate core dimensions seems provide plausible energy argument for experimentally observed wake asymmetry culminates initial symmetric vortex arrangement.
