摘要: The development of the separated flow past a flat plate which was started from rest either impulsively or with uniform acceleration investigated experimentally by using flow-visualization techniques. is irrotational initially. onset separation takes place at two edges plate. symmetrical twin-vortices are always formed small times no matter how large Reynolds number may be. length wake bubble nearly proportional to ( U t / d ) 2/3 2 values (ν (where speed, time start, length, and ν kinematic viscosity). exceeds 4.1 lengths 3 /ν =4.2×10 .
