Determination of Hopelessness and Quality of Life in Patients with Heart Disease: An Example from Eastern Turkey

摘要: This descriptive study was undertaken in order to determine hopelessness and quality of life among the patients with heart disease. No sampling made, 200 who were voluntary able communicate included study. The data collected using a personal information form that involved questions about patients’ their diseases, Beck Hopelessness Scale SF-36 Quality Life face-to-face interview technique. For analyses data, percentages, means, t test, Kruskal–Wallis Pearson’s correlation used. It identified 54% them male patients. seen there significant between income status general health perceptions, hopelessness; perceptions vitality, global life, (p < .05). also explored negative levels cardiac functioning status, life. determined desperation above middle level, low.
