摘要: BACKGROUND Serious illness will inevitably lead to a fundamental emotional reaction. Traditionally, in interventional treatment or rehabilitation trials, the psychological status of patients with implantable cardioverter defibrillators has been evaluated anxiety and depression as outcome measures. In caring for these patients, aim nursing is help manage life complex heart disease. The early detection management negative response might prevent development pathological conditions such depression. OBJECTIVE aims this study were (a) describe trajectory primary emotions over time (b) examine potential effects psychoeducational on emotions. METHODS During inclusion period (October 2007 November 2009), 196 defibrillator randomized (1:1) versus usual care. Rehabilitation consisted component an exercise training component. This article concerns phase 1, nursing, guided by theory Rosemary Rizzo Parses Human Becoming Practice Methodologies. measure Emotions Health Scale. scale consists 8 emotions: joy, agreeableness, surprise, fear, sadness, disgust, anger, anticipation. RESULTS Mean (SD) age was 58 (13) years, 79% participants men. Significant improvements found responses (P .05). CONCLUSIONS Primary are affected after implantation. Improvements found. However, it not possible detect any effect short-term intervention. Evaluating be good way nurses monitor patients' outcomes because instrument sensitive changes short period. Further interventions needed.
