摘要: The rate of mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation and the cytosolic total oxidized glutathione concentrations were studied in regenerating rat livers after partial (70%) hepatectomy. progressively decreased during early prereplicative phase liver regeneration. This was accompanied by a progressive decrease mitochondrial, but not cytosolic, concentration. Twenty-four hours hepatectomy, both adenosine triphosphate (ATP) synthesis amount depressed 50% with respect to controls (shamoperated animals). During second replicative phase, concentration recovered; however, kinetics recovery different, being completely restored 48 whereas 72 needed for phosphorylation. phosphorylation, regeneration, appeared be secondary content catalytic subunit β-F1 ATP synthase complex, which turn shown linearly related intramitochondrial glutathione. These observations suggest that two phenomena may due previously reported increased free radical production depression hepatectomy play contributory role structural functional alterations mitochondria occurring first retrodifferential
