摘要: There is a growing interest in investigating the relationship between genes with signatures of natural selection and identified QTL mapping studies using combined population quantitative genetics approaches. We dissected an X-linked interval 6.2 Mb, which contains two underlying variation chill coma recovery time (CCRT) Drosophila melanogaster from temperate (European) tropical (African) regions. This resulted relatively small regions 131 kb 124 kb. The latter one co-localizes very strong selective sweep European population. examined within near region individually gene expression analysis P-element insertion lines. Of overlapping sweep, none appears to be related CCRT. However, we have new candidate CCRT, brinker, located just outside inducible by cold stress. discuss these results light recent theories on traits.
