摘要: Abstract The oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane at very short contact times was studied using Cr 2 O 3 and Pt-modified -coated ceramic foam monoliths /Al pellet catalysts. C H 4 selectivity 6 conversion increased over the catalysts compared to Pt-coated monoliths. 10 wt.% /ZrO monolith catalyst produced best results all examined. With monolith, selectivities 70% could be obtained a about 80% 65% 75% under same conditions Pt/α-Al catalyst. However, in contrast Pt catalyst, several displayed limited lifetime. lifetime depends on /O feed ratio, support material, weight loading flowrate, amount N dilution, preheat feed. showed no deactivation up ratio 2.4 with 20% dilution flowrate SLPM when /α-Al lower ZrO extinguished 1.8 superior alkene yield conditions.
