摘要: We examined health-protective sexual communication (HPSC) with new partners, in a national sample of heterosexuals. Psychosocial factors associated HPSC were the AIDS Risk Reduction Model (ARRM). Higher was related to high self-efficacy respect activity and condom use, being sexually assertive. Greater comfort condoms, experience HIV-preventive behaviors, commitment use condoms also higher HPSC, indicating that there is strong health component safer sex talk. Significant interactions among gender, ethnicity, psychosocial variables underscore importance cultural context shaping behaviors. Prevention efforts should address general encourage by developing group-specific strategies, such as increasing for women, Latinas, well emphasizing empowering cooperative aspect all.
