Preparation and characterisation of fine-grained barium lead titanate ceramics by spark plasma sintering technique

摘要: Barium lead titanate ferroelectric ceramic is a promising material for electronic devices at high frequency and temperatures. These fine-grained ceramics were obtained low sintering temperature of 900°C within short time by means new method – spark plasma (SPS). The are highly densified to >99% the theoretical X-ray density with homogeneous microstructures, signifying that SPS process effective densifying compacts inhibition exaggerated grain growth. Temperature dependence dielectric constant pellets shows three times higher than conventional (CS) Ba0.8Pb0.2TiO3 (BPT) pellet. variations in properties between CS materials mainly because differences resultant especially size, ceramics.
