摘要: Genomic instability is a hallmark of cancer. Cancer cells that exhibit abnormal chromosomes are characteristic most advanced tumours, despite the potential threat represented by accumulated genetic damage. Carcinogenesis involves loss key components and signalling molecular networks; hence some authors have suggested this part trend cancer to behave as simple, minimal replicators. In study, we explore conjecture suggest that, in case cancer, genomic has an upper limit associated with cell network. Such network would include (for given microenvironment) basic allow replicate respond selective pressures. However, it also internal fragilities could be exploited appropriate therapies targeting DNA repair machinery. The implications hypothesis discussed.
