摘要: Concentrations of hexachlorocyclohexane isomers (alpha-HCH, beta-HCH, gamma-HCH, and delta-HCH) were studied in soils samples collected from a small scale industrial unit Lucknow associated with lindane production. All four detected ten sites the total HCH analyzed varied 53 to 99mgkg(-1). Cluster analysis was performed group soil terms their contamination level. Low alpha/gamma ratios found they indicate recent input HCH. There is an urgent need for on-site remediation these contaminated order prevent long-term environmental pollution.
