摘要: Contamination of stored grain with insects, insect fragments, fungi, and mycotoxins is a major concern the industry. The stored-grain insects affect grains not only quantitatively but also qualitatively. Disinfestation can be achieved by physical, chemical thermal methods. Microwaves may an alternate to methods killing in as their application do leave any undesirable residues thus might very effective for controlling infestation compared other available Microwave disinfestation provide continuous process allow large quantities products pass shorter period time. considered safe competitive alternative method fumigation it avoids environmental pollution. aim this review examine how use microwave treatment benefits producers, handlers, processors seeking non-chemical preventing fungal growth during storage.
