摘要: Neoplasms are highly dependent on glucose as their substrate for energy production and generally not able to catabolize other fuel sources such ketones fatty acids. Thus, removing access has the potential starve cancer cells induce apoptosis. Unfortunately, body tissues also under normal conditions. However, in human starvation (or setting of diet-induced ketogenesis), "keto-adapts" requirements most drop almost nil. Exceptions include central nervous system (CNS) various which have a small but obligatory requirement glucose. Our hypothesized treatment takes keto-adaptation prerequisite. We then propose induction severe hypoglycemia by depressing gluconeogenesis while administering brain. Although normally produces adverse effects seizure coma, it is relatively safe following keto-adaptation. hypothesize that our therapeutic rapidly tumor cell necrosis.
