摘要: Supermassive black holes are thought to be relics of quasars, and their numbers masses therefore related the quasar luminosity function its evolution with redshift. We have used relationship between hole mass bulge velocity dispersion (the •-σ relation) make an improved estimate density spectrum supermassive holes. Uncertainties in relation little effect on density. find a (4.8 ± 1.6)h2 × 105 M⊙ Mpc-3. Some variance published estimates comes from use different values Hubble constant.
