摘要: In this chapter we discuss the optical nonlinearities associated with confined excitonic state in quantum dots. Interest physics of dots has been largely fuelled by their potential as efficient nonlinear and laser materials [1–11]. The atom-like discrete energy level structure consequent concentration oscillator strength into well-defined energies makes (QDs) very attractive for electro-optic applications.
