Asymptotic biexciton ‘‘binding energy’’ in quantum dots

摘要: The biexciton ``binding energy'' in a microsphere is calculated the limit of vanishing sphere radius by use ordinary second-order perturbation theory. This found to be always positive and may exceed one excitonic Rydberg, depending on ratio dielectric constants semiconductor cladding material, as well electron-hole mass ratio.
