摘要: The well-known key problem with concrete is that its compressive strength and the compression modulus are insufficient for a variety of applications. Our polymer (PC) consists an unsaturated polyester resin as polymeric matrix, silica sand inorganic aggregate, plus atactic polypropylene (PP) fibers. A further property improvement can be achieved by gamma irradiation we apply here two methods. first method in PP fibers then adding them to PC. second route PC after inclusion Along both routes have applied radiation at dosages ranging from 5 150 kGy. In results larger contact areas surfaces resin—as seen scanning electron microscopy. provides properties which better factor or three (depending on dose) than one.
