摘要: Purpose To summarize dental implant survival rates under a variety of clinical conditions and identify prognostic variables associated with survival. Materials/methods The articles reviewed in this paper were designed as retrospective cohort studies composed three subject cohorts having implants placed between 1992 2003. categorized demographic/health status, anatomic, implant-specific, prosthetic, perioperative/operative. primary outcome variable was duration Kaplan-Meier methods used to estimate rates. Multivariate Cox proportional hazards models variables. RESULTS-During the study interval, 921 subjects had 2996 placed. Implant at one year ranged from 90.3 percent for immediate-load 96.2 inserted into grafted sinuses. five-year survivals 87.9 (sinus graft cases) 91.2 (all implants). Frequently cited included tobacco use staging. Other identified length, well size, coating, timing placement relative tooth extraction. Conclusion Using replace missing teeth is predictable procedure approximating 90 percent. Some these are control, least some degree, clinician may be manipulated enhance
