摘要: Abstract In this paper, a computer-aided selection procedure is presented as general purpose aid to the designer in making preliminary selections of nontraditional (nonconventional) machining processes for given part. The uses an interactively generated 16-digit classification code eliminate unsuitable combinations from consideration and rank remainder. coding system, data bases computer program elimination phase process have been developed. study, only work material some capabilities, namely minimum surface finish, size tolerance, corner radii, taper, hole diameter, maximum height diameter ratio width cut, are used determine best among competitive processes.
