摘要: Repetitive stimulation (100 pulses per second for 1 second) of the Schafer collateral-commissural system rat hippocampus induces long-term potentiation synaptic strength and produces significant changes in subsequent endogenous phosphorylation a 40,000-dalton protein from plasma membranes. This effect is not observed after calcium-deficient media or simulation at rate one pulse 100 seconds. These findings provide evidence that repetitive activation can alter machinery region suggest biochemical process which may be involved production neuronal plasticity.
