摘要: Abstract Synchronous development of Type 2 and 3 fold interference patterns occur in the poly-deformed Broken Hill Inlier. The have resulted from superposition recumbent F2 folds ∼N–S-oriented upright F3 folds. synchronous is attributed to variation hinge by as much 90°, suggesting a regional-scale sheath-like geometry during D2. Overprinting relationships along eastern limb Pap Synform suggests that it formed part was flattened horizontal crustal shortening. This has modified pattern. results this study show can develop same deformation event an evolving orogen.
