摘要: Surgical treatment of complex severe spinal deformity, involving a scoliosis Cobb angle more than 90° and kyphosis or vertebral rib is challenging. Preoperative two-dimensional images resulting from plain film radiography, computed tomography (CT) magnetic resonance imaging provide limited morphometric information. Although the three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction CT with special software can view stereo rotate image on screen, it cannot show full-scale spine directly be used operation table. This study was conducted to investigate application computer-designed polystyrene models in deformity. The involved 16 cases deformity treated our hospital between 1 May 2004 31 December 2007; mean ± SD preoperative 118° 27°. scanning digital communication medicine (DICOM) data sets affected segments were collected for 3D rapid prototyping prepare models, which applied these cases. allowed observation measurement deformities directly, helped surgeon perform morphological assessment communicate patient colleagues. Furthermore, also guided choice placement pedicle screws. Moreover, aid virtual surgery guide actual surgical procedure. postoperative 42° 32°, no serious complications such as cord major vascular injury occurred. use could accurate information facilitate correction
