摘要: The purpose of this study is illustrated the potential applying additive manufacturing (AM) technology with a low-cost three-dimensional (3D) printer on clinical applications spine surgeries. First, target vertebrae will be extracted from computed tomography (CT) images patient and converted to 3D polyhedral model. After choosing regions pedicle screws in model, optimal screw angles depths obtained without injuring spinal cord. Then, drill guide template developed by using an AM software, fabricated printer. doctor can utilize it buckle specific designed position patient, directly through hole during scoliosis surgery. These steps reduce surgical time substantially. Finally, several cases were executed verify placement accuracy templates
