摘要: This study tests the hyperbolic discounting hypothesis using real-payoff experiments in Ethiopia. We compared time preferences over cash and consumption goods different horizons. found that participants made consistent choices responses did not vary across payment type. However, offered an immediate option first selected impatient reward more often than those a delayed initially. Participants with greater livestock wealth smaller landholdings were likely to select patient reward.
