摘要: Summary In an attempt to clarify the pathogenesis of decreased branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) plasma concentrations in cirrhosis, clearances were measured 7 patients with cirrhosis and age- sex-matched control subjects. BCAA given as prime-continuous infusions. The valine, isoleucine, leucine, calculated infusion rate divided by steady state concentration, low normal cirrhotics despite hyperinsulinaemia, but different had ( P endogenous basal appearance rates BCAA, estimated multiplied clearances, lower concentration (394 ± 81 μmol/l (mean SD) present series vs 510 68 controls;
