摘要: Angiogenesis in the peritumor tissue of glioblastoma (GBM) is still an open field research. This study investigates neovascularization tumor surrounding areas by examining CD105 and nestin expression along with microvessel density (MVD) aim establishing their possible prognostic significance. was also confirmed investigating, vessel walls, presence pericytes, which are multipotent stem cells, expressing α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA). In our study, including 40 GBM patients, samples were obtained from tumors (first area) white matter at a distance <1 cm (second between 1 3.5 (third margin. detected immunohistochemistry hyperplastic endothelium tissue, occasionally coexpressed or colocalized. Pericytes encircling evident all three areas. Univariate analysis revealed that patients CD105-MVD value ≥8 third area have significantly shorter survival time Cox indicated about 3.5-fold increase death risk same patients. These results demonstrate neoangiogenesis occurs intimate involvement pericytes. located greater margin carries
