摘要: Abstract Purpose This study was designed to quantitatively evaluate the immature microvascular density (MVD) of brain gliomas using volume transfer constant ( K trans ) and extravascular extracellular space per unit tissue V e from dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) noninvasively. Materials methods Fifty-seven patients (35 males, 22 females; age range, 14–70, mean 46±12 years old) with glioma were included in this study. The maximal values all (grade II 24, III 7 IV 26) obtained. CD105-microvascular (CD105-MVD) each tumor measured surgical specimen. differences , CD105-MVD between different grades analyzed Mann–Whitney U -test. Pearman correlation coefficient determined CD105-MVD. A P -value less than 0.05 considered statistically significant. Results significant low-grade (LGG) high-grade (HGG) =0.001, grade significantly lower those IV. positively correlated HGG Conclusions Our results suggest DCE-MRI plays an important part noninvasively evaluating MVD gliomas.
