Near-accident reporting: A review of Swedish research

摘要: It is assumed that knowledge about events producing the experience of imminent injury or injuries do not result in an absence from work (near-accidents) contributes to prevention personal death (accidents). Swedish research on development a methodology for study near-accidents reviewed. Actively interviewing employees which they have been involved produces more information risks than would otherwise be available, but relationship between described those serious found ambiguous. The procedure apparently prompts suggestions corrective actions there little evidence change safety activities consciousness and no accident frequency following near-accident reporting period. Difficulties studying phenomena supposedly related accidents are discussed improved evaluations made.
