摘要: Measurements of hadron production in the TeV energy range are one tasks future studies at Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The main goal these experiments is a study fundamental QCD processes this range, which very important not only for probing Standard Model but also ultrahigh-energy cosmic particle physics. One key elements measurements identification. detector technology has potential ability to separate hadrons Transition Radiation Detector (TRD) technology. TRD prototype based on straw proportional chambers combined with specially assembled radiator been tested CERN SPS accelerator beam. test beam results and comparison detailed Monte Carlo simulations presented here.
