摘要: In the following chapter we outline variety of psychosocial problems among patients during course cancer and provide a conceptual framework for study existential concerns in chronic illness. While referring to newly proposed psychiatric syndrome embitterment disorder, shall introduce concept demoralization, clinically relevant distress despair. Furthermore, discuss psychotherapeutic interventions helping sustain or enhance sense meaning purpose life. Despite some overlap, demoralization can be differentiated from disorder characterized by intrusive memories, blame, dysphoria, somatic complaints as reactions stressful life event, since refers human search face serious illness including feelings incompetence failure, being unable cope, helplessness, hopelessness, disheartenment loss meaning.
