摘要: Life-threatening illness has recently been recognized as a stressor that can precipitate posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This development raised questions over the extent to which PTSD diagnosis is applicable psychological reaction being diagnosed with cancer. paper identifies core conceptual issues pertaining cancer-related PTSD, critically reviews empirical literature on following cancer, and considers possible mechanisms course of Specific need be considered in assessment treatment are reviewed. review highlights there for stronger base guide clinical management cancer patients.
